Trips
Is your class planning an exciting outing or trip? The booster club covers the cost of one special activity along the way, as long as the class chips in too, for example with a bake sale or a charity run.
Projects
School budgets are often very tight. For extras like class and course trips, field trips, and music and art projects, there's hardly any public money left.
Where the school budget falls short, the booster club steps in. The money comes from membership fees and from donations by individuals and businesses.
Tech equipment
Thanks to many donations and our membership fees, we keep improving the school's tech equipment when the school budget doesn't stretch far enough. SMART Boards, a sound system, a keyboard, air purifiers: we've helped pay for many of them.
Student council projects
Our students have lots of ideas, and we help make them happen. School dance, FIFA Cup, student newspaper, yearbook, senior class projects: we help with organizing or with money. We also help furnish common rooms and quiet rooms.
Fichte merch
Looking for a casual hoodie? Shirts and hoodies with the Fichte logo come in lots of colors and fits, all organic, Fair Trade and vegan. We sell them in our online shop and at many school events, and we announce the dates in the school newsletter.
Concerts & parties
This is where we have fun together, every time! At every school event, the booster club is there with lots of helping hands from parents and teachers: finger food, tasty drinks and plenty of good conversation, with a real block-party feel.
Recognition
Going the extra mile deserves a reward, and so many people at our Fichte go well beyond what's expected. That's why the booster club hands out thank-yous: gift cards, flowers and other small tokens of appreciation.
